Dr. Shehla Huseni is a board-certified sleep medicine specialist who is dedicated to educating her patients and community about the importance of healthy sleep habits. She provides comprehensive care for both adults and children with sleep disorders and is particularly passionate about Sleep Related Breathing Disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy. 

Dr. Huseni received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her internship at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. She then pursued a Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center – George Washington University before undertaking her Sleep Medicine training at the Stanford University Sleep Medicine Center. 

During her training, Dr. Huseni focused her research on upper airway inflammation and anatomy and its impact on sleep and the development of obstructive sleep apnea. She has published her findings in prestigious academic journals and continues to contribute to the field of sleep medicine.
