Joy Bhat, MD

Dr. Joy Bhat was born and raised in the Bay Area. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Rush University in Chicago, IL. After training, Joy worked in a clinic treating musculoskeletal problems and workplace injuries.

Dr. Bhat completed a board certification in Obesity Medicine.

With her unique background, she values the patient as a whole and gets to the root of the problem. She is amazed at what the body can do when optimizing lifestyle, activity, nutrition, and mindfulness.

When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys the beach, sunshine, surfing, biking, tennis, drawing, playing violin, and spending time with family and friends.
