Angel Dela Rima was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She obtained her BSN from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and moved to the Bay Area in search of a more comfortable climate.
Angel has been a Registered nurse for nearly three decades. Working as an ICU nurse at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek, CA, gave her the knowledge, skills, autonomy, and confidence. Most significantly, being a frontline during the 2020 pandemic led her to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner at the United States University San Diego, CA.
She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and graduated with distinction. She’s excited about her new role as an Internal Medicine and weight loss management provider because it will allow her to advocate for and assist patients in their most vulnerable and unforeseen circumstances, empowering them to regain control of their health.
She goes to Core Power Yoga class in her spare time, watches Filipino soap operas, cares for her fur babies, and enjoys her husband’s culinary prowess.
