Aiko Loo grew up in the Bay Area. She studied at the University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Psychology. She also studied abroad in New Zealand for a year before returning to complete her bachelor's degree. After college, Aiko pursued her interest in nursing by attending Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, where she received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Ali Amirzadeh was raised in South Carolina and then moved to California for his postgraduate work. He finished his Internal Medicine residency at UCLA and his Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the UCLA-Veterans Affairs and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Anita Bhat received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine training at the UCLA-VA Medical Center. She continued to fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of California, Irvine.

Cheyenne Quach was born and raised in the Bay Area. She completed her physician assistant training at the University of California, Davis, and had clinical rotations in various Sacramento, Redding, and Southern California locations.

Denise Ochoa feels most at home in the Bay Area, having lived in various places in California, Arizona, and New Mexico while growing up. Denise obtained her BSN and MSN as Family Nurse Practitioner from Samuel Merritt University.

Dr. Farinaz Farrahi grew up in the Bay Area after immigrating to the United States with her family from Iran. She obtained her B.A. from Mills College in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and her M.D. from Stanford University.

Dr. Gerald Austin, a distinguished podiatrist, has been a Bay Area resident since 1996. He embarked on his graduate education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish.

Gwendolyn Cashman is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner Specialist based in Walnut Creek, California. With over 24 years of diverse experience in the healthcare industry, Gwendolyn is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients, helping them understand their medical needs, and providing access to the services required to maintain optimal health.

Dr. Harry MacDannald is a distinguished medical practitioner specializing in pulmonary medicine, sleep disorders medicine, and internal medicine. He is based in Walnut Creek and has been providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions for many years.

Dr. Imran Junaid was raised in Florida and then relocated to California for his postgraduate training. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at UCLA-Veterans Affairs and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

For Dr.Mary Katz at Jiva Health Dr. Mary Katz is the physician I saw at Jiva Health. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, and I also was in need of a weight loss program. I had gone to a few doctors before, and this was my last shot in attempts to address these serious problems. When I got to the office I was pleasantly greeted and Dr.Katz was very personable and helpful with all my questions pertaining my health issues. Because of so many variables its a little bit complicated. Dr. Katz listened to me,and offered suggestions and even stayed after hours to help me to adjust my sleep apnea machine as my new one is stuck in a 6-month delay at the Apria manufacturing unit. She took the time to find me a suitable mask for my previous machine and it was made so clear my comfort and needs were truly cared for. The weight program had also been pleasant. She had to evaluate my past issues and was careful to make the right recommendations. The program and prescription she put me on were mild but effective. I'm consistently losing 2-3 pounds a week with no side effects. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the medical knowledge and common courtesy demonstrated by my physician Dr.Mary Katz. I have found it rare to find providers who genuinely cares for the wellbeing of their patients in the way she does. I rate her high on my list and I would 100% recommend Dr Katz to anyone, or already to friends and families medical needs. It’s hard to find as good of an all-around physician as Dr.Katz. Everyone at Allergy and Weight Loss Center is great. Dr. Anita has been my doctor for several years and she has taken good care of me. Now I am seeing Kristi Elliott NP. She's been wonderful. The office staff is always friendly and helpful..

Professional staff, walk ins welcomed although making an appointment would be better so there’s no long wait. B-12 shots and they help with weight loss.
